In plain English
- These terms cover your use of our website and how we deal with enquiries, test drives, finance introductions and trade-ins.
- Information and prices on our website are a guide. A vehicle sale is only binding once you sign a written sales contract with us.
- There is no cooling-off period for motor vehicle purchases in Western Australia, so read your contract carefully before you sign.
- Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Acceptance of these terms
By using this website or dealing with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These terms apply together with our Privacy Policy and any written sales contract or finance documents you sign.
About us
This website is operated by Crown Auto Deals Pty Ltd (ABN 65692290949) , of 1/173 Camboon Rd, Malaga WA 6090 . We are a licensed Western Australian motor vehicle dealer (Dealer Licence MD32538).
Vehicle listings and information
We try to keep our listings accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that descriptions, specifications, features, kilometres, photos or availability are free from error or omission. Photos are a guide only and may not show every detail of a vehicle.
- We encourage you to inspect any vehicle in person, and to ask us about anything that matters to you before you buy.
- Stock changes quickly. A vehicle shown as "Under offer" has a sale in progress, and a vehicle shown as "Sold" is no longer available.
- Please contact us to confirm availability and details before travelling to see a vehicle.
Prices
Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Our listed prices are shown as "Inc. Govt. Charges", meaning government charges are included, unless we tell you otherwise. Prices can change without notice.
If a price is displayed incorrectly (for example, through a typing or system error), we may correct it and are not required to sell the vehicle at the incorrect price. A price shown on our website is an invitation to enquire and is not an offer that you can accept.
Buying a vehicle
A purchase is only binding when you and we have both signed a written sales contract. Please read the contract and any information statements carefully before you sign, and ask us if anything is unclear.
No cooling-off period. Western Australian law does not provide a statutory cooling-off period for motor vehicle purchases. Once the contract is signed, you generally cannot cancel the purchase.
Test drives
- You must hold a current, valid driver licence for the class of vehicle, and we may ask to see photo identification before a test drive.
- We may accompany you on a test drive, set conditions (such as route or time), or decline a test drive at our discretion.
- You must drive safely and lawfully. You are responsible for any fines or penalties incurred during the test drive, and may be responsible for damage caused by your negligence or unlawful use, to the extent the law allows.
Finance
We may help you apply for finance through third-party lenders. All finance is subject to the lender's approval, credit assessment, terms, conditions, fees and charges. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
- Repayment figures and calculators on our website are estimates only. They are not a quote, a credit offer or financial advice.
- Lenders make their own decisions. We are not responsible for a lender's decision or terms.
- You must give us accurate and complete information in any application.
Selling or trading in your vehicle
- Submitting your vehicle through our "Sell your car" form is an enquiry. It is not an offer from us and does not create a contract.
- Any offer we make is subject to an inspection of the vehicle, checks of ownership and any money owing on it, and verification of your identity.
- The final price may differ from an early estimate if the vehicle's condition or history is different from what you told us.
- Either of us may decline to proceed before a written agreement is signed.
- You confirm that the information you give us is accurate, and that you have the right to sell the vehicle.
Warranties and consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In addition, a statutory warranty under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973 (WA) may apply to eligible used vehicles sold by a licensed dealer. Whether it applies, and for how long, depends on factors including the purchase price, age and kilometres of the vehicle at the time of sale. Please ask us what applies to a specific vehicle before you buy.
Any extended warranty or other product we help you arrange is provided on the terms of that product's provider, which you should read before you buy. Nothing in these terms limits or removes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the statutory warranty.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and liability that are not expressly given in these terms or in a signed sales contract, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website, or from reliance on information on it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our choice, to resupplying, repairing or replacing the goods or services, or paying the cost of doing so.
Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Communications
By giving us your contact details, you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry by phone, email, SMS or WhatsApp. We will send marketing messages only where permitted by law, and you can opt out at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date it is published on this page, shown as "Last updated" above. Changes do not affect a sales contract that has already been signed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
