Has driven less than 160,000 km on the day of sale, and
Was built within the last 10 years.
Coverage Period:
3 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first)
You are covered if the vehicle:
Has driven 160,000 km or more, or
Was built more than 10 years ago.
Coverage Period:
1 month or 1,000 km (whichever comes first)
Buyers may choose to waive the Class B warranty for vehicles more than 20 years old that are sold for restoration.
Vehicles that are over 20 years old and sold for restoration may be sold without a statutory warranty.
Vehicles sold for restoration at auction do not have a warranty.
If sold outside of auction, the buyer may choose to waive the warranty.

Most mechanical and functional defects are covered, including parts that:
Do not work as intended
Are excessively worn and no longer function
The warranty does not cover:
Tyres, batteries, airbags, radiator hoses
Lights (except indicators or hazard lights)
Audio systems
Spark plugs, filters, wiper blades, hoses
Paint and upholstery
Air conditioning (under Class B)
Also not covered:
Damage caused by misuse or negligence
Parts added after purchase
If your vehicle has a defect:
You must give written notice to Crown Auto Deals Australia
We will respond within 5 business days
You will be advised how and where repairs will be done
If no response is given within 5 days, the warranty is assumed to be accepted.
You must deliver the vehicle to:
Crown Auto Deals Australia, or
An authorised repairer nominated by us
Repairs will be completed within 14 days.
Each day your vehicle is being repaired will extend your warranty by 1 day.
The repairer will usually be within 20 km of our location unless otherwise agreed.
If the vehicle is more than 200 km away, we may:
Choose the nearest suitable repairer, or
Pay transport costs.
We recommend having the vehicle professionally checked before the warranty expires to identify any issues early.
If Crown Auto Deals Australia is sold in the future:
The original dealer remains responsible for existing warranties
The new owner is not liable for past warranty repairs
Under Australian Consumer Law, you also receive automatic consumer guarantees, even if no statutory warranty applies.

Is of acceptable quality
Matches its description
Is fit for its intended purpose
Has no undisclosed finance owing
Is legally available for sale
Comes with the right to use and own it
